Today, we unveil our new identity as Solid and launch the Solid Banking Platform.
The evolution.
We built a modern banking platform, and successfully launched the Wise product on it. Along the way, the platform matured and it began to serve many partner products. We went from powering the Wise app to powering other products and ecosystems. Along the way, we realized our brand and our positioning needed to change, too. And today, we are making the change and excited to share that Wise is now Solid.
Inspired from our early success with partners and end users, the next step in our evolution was clear – to open up our platform to other ecosystems looking to create an embedded banking experience.
We built a platform that kept money simple - you store, you spend, you receive, you send. The evolution is that the platform, now enables our partners, to meet their customers where they are, with their money needs.
Our new identity - Solid.
We built a modern banking platform, so our partners don't have to. We do them a solid. In turn, they do their customers a solid, by creating contextual, intuitive, meaningful banking experiences that remain non-existent in the traditional standalone banking world.
We are there to support you, it represents who we are, and this is why we love our new identity – Solid.

Our platform is purpose-built to accelerate the inclusion of banking in the partner ecosystem. We do it by instantly creating bank accounts & cards for their customers. For the partner, Solid takes the complexity out of banking and puts it within reach. Think of Solid as an ingredient to the partner's recipe. With a new identity, we’re a step closer to the goal of becoming the ubiquitous "banking for all" ingredient in every recipe.

For Platforms
Solid gives marketplaces and software platforms (SaaS, FinTech, eCommerce, Brands) the banking superpowers to offer financial products that deliver real value to their customers.
For Banks
Solid empowers banks with an API banking platform to drive customer engagement, and in turn, accrete deposits and card revenue. A bank goes further with Solid, by launching programs as the sponsor bank.

Lastly, we have some amazing news to share. We’re incredibly excited to announce a new team member that will help us elevate our platform to new heights. Pete Longo joins Solid as Head of Banking. Pete served as Head of Banking Solutions & FinTech partnerships at Neocova. Pete brings over a decade of banking experience.
We’re incredibly excited to announce our new identity as Solid, and along with it, the launch of the Solid Banking Platform. Solid comes with much bigger ambitions, that go way beyond Wise. Today, we reintroduce ourselves as a platform, as a company that is as dynamic, as innovative, and as inspiring as the ecosystems that build on it.
Wise was great, now we're Solid.
